Before I get the recommendation of 650nm red laser diode module, I only used very simple sticker or laser pointers to make dot alignment work. However, most of the time I am seriously limited by its dot emitting stability, anyway, it is quite hard to make full control of hands in continuous dot generating work. In addition, even though you have made selection of laser pointer, it is still hard to make long time continuous dot projection in exact work.
In various industrial dot alignment work, 650nm red laser diode module is very simple to operate. Usually the operator only needs to connect laser module with electric power supply, then it will begin to make continuous red laser dot generating on desired working surfaces. However, when users are making laser dot generation, it might be required to project different size of red laser dot at different working distance.
In order to make users get totally understanding of exact dot generation, we have made test of projecting size of red laser dot. At 10cm working distance, red laser dot diameter is as fine as 0.3mm. At 1 meter working distance, red laser dot is 2mm to 3mm. The laser beam fan angle of red laser diode module has just made it project different size of red laser dot.
At longer working distance, the desired red laser dot becomes larger and larger. As a result, laser module operator should be cautious enough with exact working distance. Usually the controlled working distance should be controlled within 20 meters. Otherwise, it is hard to make sure of extremely accurate dot alignment. Whatever kind of industrial alignment work, it is just a necessity to make full use of 650nm red laser module until getting the most satisfied dot generation.
